Getting liquored up

*snickering*
Okay. Not really. But I am having one or two celebratory Smirnoff Twisted Green Apples. Yummy. I love green apple. I was the one addicted to the green apple jolly ranchers.
And what am I celebrating?
Two of my short stories are going to be in the Whiskey Creek Press "Love Anthology" coming out in February 2006. *doing happy author dance* That means I'll have two books coming out then. My other one, "Perfect Timing", is also due out February 2006. Ought to be quite a month. Oh. And I turn a year younger. Heh

On the literary front, I wrote about 2000 words today. And my characters are STILL not getting along. We had a moment of chemistry there, and then she kneed him in the nether regions. These two difficult people are making me nuts.
I think I'll medicate myself with another drink of green apple.

Congrats on getting your stories on the anthology! *does the Ren & Stimpy happy-joy dance* And hey, go easy on the green apple wine, or you'll end drunk like the bear. *lol*

Congratulations on the short stories! How exciting. As for green apples, you're looking at another green apple jolly rancher fan. :) Don't know about the Twisted Green Apple drink... never had one!

Congrats on the short stories! And yes, alcohol should make the characters SEEM nicer....

Kudos on the anthology, that's really exciting. The green apple Smirnoff sounds yummy. Wish I could have one now, but its only 10 a.m. here.

Thank you. Thank you. *bowing and grinning like a loon*

I only ended up drinking one of my apple drinks. Then I started to get all warm and fuzzy. *snort* What a lightweight.
Beth C.: They are DELICIOUS! I love alcohol that doesn't taste like alcohol. And they're not icky or overpowering.
Rene: It's five o'clock somewhere. *laughing*
Silma: I drink so rarely, it doesn't take much.
Lyvvie: Oh yeah. I remember those good times. *nodding* That hard candy can be a bitch when it gets like that. Or when you suck it to a point, and it gives an ice pick a run for its money.
And sometime, when you're really REALLY bored and don't mind sharing, I would love to read a little story of the culture shock you went through when moving to Scotland.
