I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight

And here's why:

I sent off six queries the other day. All the agents are top-notch. And I already received two requests for partials.
Oh. My. God!
And my publisher wrote and assured me that she would buy the other three books in my four book set.
WOW!

Both of these good news items will hopefully get me through tomorrow. When I'm in editing purgatory.

Tess: Thanks!
I'll tell you what. That is like some small descent into hell's basement. What IS it about *ahem* you know?
*shuddering*
Well. At least it's the last time for this book. Small consolation.

How exciting! That's terrific news.

Editing is fun. It is the most fun you've ever had. After you finish editing, it is going to take plastic surgery to get the smile off your face.

Rene: That's not even subliminal. Or right. *snickering*
I'll let you know if I go right into the bliss of editing. Don't hold your breath.

Thats awesome, Crystal!! Best of luck for you. I hear finding an agent is a difficult process.

I just finished re-reediting another manuscript and it went back to the interested editor moments ago. But I still have oh so much more editing to go.

I'm looking forward to starting something new, but at the rate I'm going thats not going to happen til Nano time comes again.
