Literati

For some unknown reason, this word is stuck in my head. I was going to blog about my day. (In short...extremely busy.) But here I am. At literati.

First, I love the word. Say it aloud. Roll it off your tongue. It's absolutely marvelous. And definition? Literarti (plural) persons interested in literature or the arts.
Wow. That would be us, huh?

What other arts interest you? I love the written word. But I also cannot live without music. (By the way...picked up the Pussycat Dolls CD. OMG! Love it! It's attitudal music. No wonder I'm partial.) I love art. I want to attend an opera. I want to see a Broadway play. I love sculptures.
In short...I like imagination I can see. Or hear. Or touch.

So. Literati. Here's my definition: Tangible Imagination.
What could be better?

Photography is my other passion. I've actually pursued it seriously, longer than I've been writing.

By the way the photography sites redesign is complete now. I have a few broken links to fix, but I should have it done by the end of the day. Then it's just a matter of updating my portfolio.

There's a link at the bottom of my blog page if you're interested in taking a look.

I love the Pussycat Dolls! They definitely have Attitude! So, yeah, other arts for me are music (I have incredibly eclectic taste), photography (must get out and learn to really use the digital camera I bought at Christmas), and I love museums of all kinds. Well, maybe not the kind that have icky, gory stuff. But art museums? I am SO there!

I used to do watercolors, with a special attention to flowers. I was told I could get pretty good at it. But I suspected I wouldn't become great, so I stopped.

I love to paint. In high school art class was my passion but college spoiled it for me. They wer too abstract for my tastes.

So I'll stick to writing, thank you very much!!
