Sugar, sugar everywhere

It's that time again. Yep. Making some cookies tomorrow. Of course, SOME is the understatement of the year. Going to be making some butterscotch, chocolate chips with pecans, homemade turtles, and peanut butter cookies. I think that sums it up. The oven will get quite a workout.
Felt fairly "BLAH" lately. Don't know what's bit my butt. Got in the holiday mood today. Put Sirius Holiday on and made out some Christmas cards. I'll finish the rest early next week. I'm just so damn tired all the time. UGH.
Maybe it'll be better after the holidays. The kids will open presents in ONE WEEK. Don't think I haven't heard THAT about sixty times today. I threatened to start removing the presents if the countdown continued. Ahhhh.....blessed silence.

It's beginning to sound a lot like CHRISTMAS! LOL!
Sugar, flour, bits of colored doughed smashed into the bottom of your tennis shoes and then imprinted on your carpet later, probably red or green. OMG!

And presents under the tree. My cat Charlotte loves the darn tree. But the tree does not return her affection.

And neither do I!

I am sending out Christmas cards. I just wanted you to know that. Because I am always late. You might get an Easter card from me for Christmas like Michelle is going to get.

Don't ask. It's the thought that counts. Right?

WOW! Sounds like a ton of fun though. Have fun today! I want to make another batch of peanut brittle, but it's 30+ minutes of nearly constant stirring. Jim's clamoring for another batch of bon bons, and I haven't made my personal favorite yet, Russian Tea Cakes. Maybe tomorrow.....

Janie,

Um...I'm the same way as far as cards. You'll get one, um...sometime. (open-ended) LMAO
And I don't mind the baking so much, 'cept my turtles could REALLY use some help. Don't ask. Just don't ask. Everything else is lovely. Kids are shopping today for me, so it's quiet besides the Christmas music I've got going on. Pumpkin (my heathen kitty) can't FIT under the tree now. Little heifer. She's as manic as I am. Imagine that.
