5,000-Year-Old Skeletons Locked in Embrace
Archaeologists in Italy have discovered a couple buried 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, hugging each other.
"It's an extraordinary case," said Elena Menotti, who led the team on their dig near the northern city of Mantova. "There has not been a double burial found in the Neolithic period, much less two people hugging -- and they really are hugging."

Very touching. Can you imagine? I think it speaks of old romance. Seriously. Where just the right grunt and piece of animal flesh bonded you. And to be buried wrapped up in another? That's some serious stuff.
Who says romance is dead?
Oh, um. Right.
In this case, I suppose it is. At least in the earthly sense. But look at the long-term possibilities.
